At Fahad Electrical Engineering Limited, we provide engineering-grade rewinding, overhauling, and reconditioning for single and three-phase AC/DC electric induction motors. From stator burnout and insulation breakdown to mechanical bearing failure, our Lusaka workshop restores machinery to OEM specifications.

We use digital temperature-controlled ovens for safe coil extraction, inverter-duty spike-resistant magnet wire, Class H insulation, and Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) for complete moisture sealing. Every rotor is dynamically balanced to ISO standards before full electrical testing.

•Inverter-duty magnet wire installation providing high dielectric resistance against rapid dV/dt voltage spikes from modern Variable Frequency Drives.
•Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) and multi-pass epoxy dipping and environmental baking to permanently seal coils against moisture and chemical vapors.
•Core loss testing and loop testing to measure interlaminar insulation resistance and detect electromagnetic hot spots before rewinding.
•Precision 2-plane dynamic rotor balancing on electronic balancing rigs to eliminate invisible harmonic vibration and extend bearing lifespan.
•In-house machine shop rebuilding and sleeving of worn bearing journals, shaft seal surfaces, and end-bell housings back to exact OEM tolerances.
•Post-overhaul full-load and no-load run testing with vibration analysis and thermal infrared imaging prior to workshop dispatch.
